The Shire of Yilgarn gives notice of its intention to dispose of the following lots, in accordance with Section 3.58 of the Local Government Act.

Interested community groups are invited to submit an expression of interest to crop lots 36, 44 & Reserve Lot 88 Airport for a term of 3 years.

The Shire of Yilgarn is commencing a review of its Disability Access and Inclusion Plan (DAIP) and is calling on community members for comments and feedback.

In accordance with Section 12 of the Local Government (Administration) Regulations 1996, it is hereby notified for public information that the following dates and times have been set for the Shire of Yilgarn’s 2019 Ordinary meetings of Council which are conducted in the Council Chambers at the Shire of Yilgarn’s Administration Offices, Antares Street, Southern Cross.

Following concerns raised by a number of residents at a meeting with Minjar Gold regarding a Hydrogeology Consultants assessment on the above proposal, Minjar Gold gave an undertaking for a Peer Review to be carried out on the initial Consultants findings. The Peer Review has now been completed and is attached for resident’s information. Should residents require further information regarding the content of the initial Report or the Peer Review Report, they can contact the CEO, Peter Clarke, at the Shire Office.
