NOTICE OF PROPOSAL TO MAKE A LOCAL LAW

Pursuant to Section 3.5 of the Local Government Act, the Council of the Shire of Yilgarn proposes to make the following local law:

PUBLIC PLACES, LOCAL GOVERNMENT PROPERTY AND TRADING AMENDMENT LOCAL LAW (2026)

PURPOSE:           To amend the Public Places, Local Government Property and Trading Amendment Local Law (2025).

EFFECT:                Addresses a number of grammatical and referencing errors.

A copy of the proposed local law is provided with this notice, or may be inspected at or obtained from the Shire’s administration office at 23 Antares Street, Southern Cross, between 8:30am and 4:30pm, Monday to Friday, and at the Southern Cross Library located at the Community Resource Centre during normal opening times.
