The 2025 Shire of Yilgarn extraordinary election will be held on Thursday 26 October 2026. There is one vacancy to be filled for a term expiring 20 October 2029.
The Shire of Yilgarn extraordinary elections will be by ‘postal voting’ conducted by the WA Electoral Commission. Ms Lisa Boso has been appointed as the Returning Officer by the Commission to oversee the elections which includes taking candidate nominations.
