Community Funding Program
The Shire of Yilgarn Community Funding Program (CFP) was developed to provide a source of funding for non-profit organisations operating within the district.
As part of the annual budget Council agrees to make funds available for three categories of funding - ‘Essential Equipment’, 'Community / Sporting Event Related Expenses' and ‘Travel & Training Assistance’.
The objective of the program is:
- To assist community organisations in maximising their future development.
- To provide an impartial means by which community organisation can access Council funds.
Application timeframes
Applications open on the first Monday and close on the last Friday of October at 12.00pm each year.
Other support
The Shire of Yilgarn supports numerous clubs and organisations, as well as charities and schools through financial donations, sponsorship and waiver of fees and charges. Furthermore the Shire of Yilgarn assists with funding and grant applications.
