Moorine Rock Primary School

Moorine Rock Primary School is a small caring school that fosters community spirit and stability in order to develop student potential and achieve competence academically, socially, personally and physically so that they may perform successfully and confidently in their local community and in readiness for the wider environment.

Moorine Rock is situated 22km west of Southern Cross and was opened in 1926, known as Parkers Range School. Moorine Rock is a small town which services mainly the farming community.

The school is situated on a large block which has an extensive garden, oval, cricket pitch, new basketball/netball court and three buildings that accommodate the Kindergarten to Year 3s, the Years 4–7 age group, and an administration building which doubles as a library/classroom.

The school has an average yearly enrolment of 40 children which enables us to have small numbers in our classes.
